About Ngagyur Kadag Institute

Ngagyur Kadag Institute is a non-profit organization founded in January 2025 by Khenpo Pem Tsheri Sherpa at the request of the Nepali Buddhist community.

The aim of the Institute is to help bring both temporary and ultimate happiness to all beings. This is accomplished through spiritual programs and humanitarian support that allow people’s true potential to shine forth.

Our current project is the Educational Program on Philosophy and Psychology, which will take place in Kathmandu, Nepal, from May 21–23, 2026. You do not need to identify as a Buddhist to attend this event.

The Institute also has several long-term goals:

  • To establish a higher secondary school in Nepal that integrates modern education with Buddhist studies, including psychology.

  • To organize awareness-based educational and humanitarian programs worldwide.

  • To establish a hospital that provides quality medical treatment at the lowest possible cost.

  • To establish an old-age care home that offers a comfortable living environment with comprehensive medical and personal care.

  • To create a network of international Dharma centers under the spiritual guidance of Khenpo Pem Tsheri Sherpa.
