Bhikshuni Pannyawati Manandhar was born in Banepa, Nepal. She received her novice ordination in 2036 B.S. at Dharmakirti Vihar and her full Bhikshuni ordination in 1991 at Fo Guang Shan Monastery.
She completed her SLC in Kathmandu and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Theravāda Buddhism at Lumbini Buddhist University.
She is actively engaged in religious and social service, serving as the Coordinator of Nun’s Association Nepal, Treasurer of Yesodhara Bhikhuni Vihar, and holding leadership roles in several Buddhist institutions. Through education, service, and dedication to the Sangha, she contributes to the preservation and promotion of Buddhism in Nepal.
